Non-Degree Programs include the typical exchange for a duration of 1-2 semesters. This program is not intended to finish a full degree in Japan. 

Degree Programs

Degree programs provide the possibility to complete a whole degree program in Japan. Students are no longer studying at TU Wien and will only be awarded a degree in Japan.

Double-Degree Programs

In the framework of the T.I.M.E. Double Degree Program, students of the Master's Programme Biomedical Engineering will be awarded a degree in Japan as well as in Vienna. 

Short-term stays (less than 3 months)

Internships are a great opportunity to gain work and research experience abroad in addition to your regular studies. Research internships at the prestigious National Institute of Informatics (NII) are offered to TUW-students every semester.

Summer and Winter Schools

Some of our partner-universities provide the possibility to apply for short-term stays during the summer holidays. The programs with a duration from 2-10 weeks include Japanese language courses, cultural exchange and/or project-based or course-based curricula.
