TUW and Family
A Balance Between your Family and your Career/Research/Studies
At TU Wien, we believe that it is our duty to allow our members to care for their children or relatives alongside their career or academic work. By doing so, we are confronting one of the most significant societal challenges. The Vice Rector for Personnel is responsible for matters relating to balancing family and student/work life.
TU Kids, TU Care and the office “Büro Kids & Care” for compatibility, was set up as point of contact and service point for balancing life at the university with family life. In addition to a range of support options for employees with childcare obligations, TU Wien is developing support measures for employees with relatives in need of care to make it easier for them to balance their career and their family.
