Would you like to get to know TU Wien better? We offer special guided tours for school classes and groups of prospective students. We will show you around the TU Wien campus and answer any questions you may have about studying here.

Open house – individuals or groups – no registration required – free of charge

Not familiar with geodesy and geoinformation? We can change that: Come to the GEO open house and immerse yourself in the world of satellite data, laser scanners, virtual and augmented reality tools, and much more. We are happy to welcome entire school classes, but anyone else who is interested is also welcome.

For women – counseling – as an individual – no appointment necessary – free of charge

We offer information specifically for (young) women on choosing a degree program, career profiles, and starting your studies at TU Wien.

Lecture – as a group – after registration – free of charge

We offer school classes an insight into the world of surveying, earth observation, laser scanners, robotics, geosciences, and much more. Teachers book exciting lectures in advance, each lasting one school hour, which are then presented to the students via Zoom by our scientists.

We offer a wide range of different activities! These range from logic puzzles at the Vienna Science Ball to the LogicLounge public discussion series and interactive exhibitions such as the City of Vienna Research Festival. We look forward to welcoming you to one of our programs!

Workshop – for individuals or groups – registration required – free of charge

Welcome.TU.code offers basic computer science workshops, an introduction to software and hardware, and programming. The program is aimed at anyone, especially those with a migrant background or from financially disadvantaged backgrounds, who have not yet had access to computer science.
