We are an experimental quantum optomechanics group at the Atominstitut, opens an external URL in a new window of TU Wien, opens an external URL in a new window, and part of the Wolfgang Pauli Institute (WPI), opens an external URL in a new window and the Vienna Center for Quantum Science and Technology (VCQ), opens an external URL in a new window.

In our research, we focus on exploring quantum optomechanical effects with single or ensembles of nonreciprocally interacting optically trapped silica nanoparticles. We are genuinely interested in revealing the ramifications and applications of nonreciprocal interactions for quantum mechanics, thermodynamics, and non-Hermitian physics. Furthermore, we build hybrid quantum systems of atoms and nanoparticles to probe fundamental physics at the nanoscale and test the limits of quantum physics in tabletop experiments. Our vision is to exhibit the versatility, tunability, and scalability of our platform and apply it to quantum sensing and metrology.

We would like to hear from you if you are interested in joining us at any level, from undergraduate to Postdoc. You can read more about our research and how to contact us at our website www.deliclab.at, opens an external URL in a new window.
