Application deadline

In TU Wien Mobility Online / Non Degree Japan, opens an external URL in a new window:

  • from January 15 to March 15 for fall term
  • from June 15 to October 15 for spring term

Note:

Mobility Online is the new mobility portal of TU Wien. The link TU Wien Mobility Online / Non Degree Japan, opens an external URL in a new window will take you directly to the application form.

  • Authentication takes place via Single Sign On (TU Wien access data as in TISS).
  • After submitting the application form, you can access your application directly via the link https://mobility.tuwien.ac.at and upload further documents.

In addition to the internal application deadlines, the application deadlines of the respective partner universities must also be noticed. Before applying via TU Wien Mobility Online, the application modalities have to be clarified with the coordinator at JASEC in due time.

Application forms
  • Transcript
  • CV in English, Motivation letter in English, Research Plan
  • Language certificate in English B2 (at least A-levels certificate with grade A or B)
Exchange spots

9 x 6 months (in fall or spring term)

Grant amount

€ 582,- +  € 870,- lump sum for travel costs

Miscellaneous
  • Study level: Master or PhD
  • Project work at one of the institutions (in accordance with Thomas Rief)
  • Application for a Monbukagakusho-grant (Master- oder PhD-programme - just for graduates);
