Digital Chain Pendulum
The chain pendulum consists of a cart connected to a belt and driven by a DC motor. Attached to this carriage is a unilaterally rotatable, inextensible and flexible chain whose deflection depends on the movement of the carriage. The aim of the experiment is to keep the natural oscillation of the chain, which is caused by external forces, under control.
