The lecture materials as well as the three exercise sheets will be made available for download on this homepage alongside the lecture.

Lecture (3 hours)

Every Thursday, 2:00 – 5:00 PM (from Thursday, March 12, 2026 to June 25, 2026) in DA04 G10 (small seminar room, 4th floor, green).
The lecture will be held in English.
The lecture exam is an individual oral exam. Dates will be arranged individually via email. Please register approximately 1–2 weeks before your desired date so that we can schedule the exam: dirk.praetorius@asc.tuwien.ac.at.

Exercise (1 hour; held in blocks)

The exercise consists of three sessions, which will take place on the following dates (attendance is mandatory!) in DA04 G10 (small seminar room, 4th floor, green):
- 1st exercise session: Thursday, 23.04.2025, 8:30-10:00 AM,
- 2nd exercise session: Thursday, 21.05.2025, 8:30-10:00 AM,
- 3rd exercise session:: Thursday, 18.06.2025, 8:30-10:00 AM.
You must register in TISS by Wednesday, 11.03.2026.
The exercise sheets will be uploaded here 3 weeks before each session. They will consist of theoretical and practical problems.
You may implement the programming task in a programming language of your choice. We recommend MATLAB or Python.
The format is a Kreuzerl-Übung, meaning you must solve 50% of the problems and present at least one problem in order to successfully complete the course.
The exercises must be checked in the respective exercise sessions.
