TU Wien (Technische Universitaet Wien) opens 1 PhD position and 1 PostDoc position in the field of robot learning. Two open topic areas are as follows.

  • Intuitive Robot programming
  • Robot control policy learning

Requirements

  • MSc degree (robotics, electrical/mechanical engineering, computer science)
  • Solid background in robotics and machine learning
  • Good understanding of control
  • Interdisciplinary thinking
  • Programming in Matlab/Simulink, C/C++, (Python)
  • Experience with ROS, simulators, or hardware is a plus
  • Proficiency in writing and speaking English
