Scope and Content

The library of the Research Unit of Urban and Regional Studies currently contains about 7,000 book titles. This collection consists of about two thirds German and one third English literature. The focus is on a stock of basic regional science literature with deeper specialisation in the research areas of smart cities, regional development, location theory, infrastructure theory, urban development, migration, data generation and processing, regional statistics, mobility, geography, quantitative methods of regional research, social inequality and segregation and sustainability in urban and regional development. All books available in the library can be borrowed except we need them within the research unit.
