- Help or receive help with challenges and decision-making doctoral students face in academic life
- Learn new soft skills such as active listening, communication, leadership, empathy, problem-solving, cultural awareness, facilitation, and more in a real-life setting
- Build out your professional network in a natural and authentic way

Who can participate?
- Mentees: Doctoral students in year 1 or 2
- Mentors: Doctoral students in year 3 or 4
Mentors receive 3 ECTS for their participation in the program.
When does the program take place?
Program Start
The next P2P DOC cohort will start their mentoring journey in WS 2025/26.
The application period is already closed.
Program Duration
P2P DOC is designed to fit into the schedule of a busy academic. The program will run approximately from October to April.
How is the program set up?
Process
- Mentors and mentees apply to the program
- The P2P DOC Team evaluates applications
- Mentors register for LVA through TISS
- Mentors attend mandatory training
- Mentors and mentees are matched during the kick-off event
- Mentors and mentees meet and engage
- Mentors and mentees provide feedback to the P2P DOC Team at various times
- Mentors and mentees celebrate the end of their mentorship journey together
