Our Goals

The REUG – Real Estate User Group is a non-profit association, hosted at and sponsored by the Real Estate and Facility Management (IFM) at TU Wien. It forms the link between practitioners and researchers. The REUG provides answers for the question and problems of practitioners based on scientific studies. Furthermore suitable solutions for everyday tasks are presented.

Our events and activities are already well-known as a platform for networking, sharing expertise and best practices among Facility and Real Estate Management professionals, working both in companies and different institutions as well.

Science meets Practice

The REUG connects practitioners to the scientific research of the IFM and the TU. Existing experience and know-how from research projects with more than 40 companies are accumulated. In addition the results from the yearly survey are available. The goal is to use this knowledge to derive solutions that fit into daily practice and can easily be implemented in your company. Using this knowledge potential savings can be identified.

Established 1999 the REUG has about 1.000 members in CEE, thereby being one of the largest representations in Europe.
