Tactical Mobilism – Interventions for a Sustainable Mobility Culture

The Project Tactical Mobilism aims to establish time-limited, simple and cost-effective interventions for the transformation of mobility spaces. The participatory development of interventions in public spaces opens up new perspectives, leads to a rethinking of the actors and can trigger a long-term change in mobility culture. The city of Villach is the ideal pilot city and multiplier. Central innovation is the gradual, adaptive and flexible testing of interventions, participation through community organizing in the real laboratory and the transfer from the pilot city of Villach to other medium-sized cities.
