Start your studies successfully with the Welcome Days!

For the first time, the TU Wien Welcome Days will take place in September 2026 in a new format and will offer all first-year students a comprehensive introduction to university life.

At the TU Wien Welcome Days, you will receive all the important information for a successful start to your studies. Get to know the university, your program, and life in Vienna, and connect with fellow students.

The Welcome Days are organized by Student Support, opens an external URL in a new window and the International Welcome and Engagement Center (IWEC), opens an external URL in a new window of TU Wien and will take place at various TU Wien locations.

Monday, September 14, 2026 (morning): Bachelor’s students (presentations in German)
Tuesday, September 15, 2026 (morning): Master’s and PhD students (presentations in English)
