REBOUND

Dynamics and prevention of rebound effects in mobility innovations

Rebound effects can counteract efficiency gains through mobility innovations. REBOUND develops a toolkit for the foresighted design of technological, social and organisational mobility innovations in order to avoid or mitigate rebound effects. Along the cross-sectional dimensions of innovations, policy measures and user behaviour, rebound effect chains and indicator systems show the key points for preventive rebound management.
