DrückMichi

The flexible solution for parking space management to promote equality of road users

The DrückMichi research project aims to strengthen the role of bicycles as a sustainable means of transport by improving the general conditions for bicycle parking in road space. To this end, DrückMichi uses innovative approaches to develop a new swivelling bike-bar system whose features aim to offer non-motorized road users an equal opportunity to park their vehicles in parking spaces - without permanently excluding passenger cars. This infrastructure addition is intended to investigate whether a coexistence of these modes of transport can be promoted or is desired.
