“Addiction Disorders in the Workplace – How to Recognize and Support” with Mag.rer.nat. Nadja Springer

How can we better understand addiction and provide meaningful support?

This lecture is aimed at members of TU Wien and provides a concise introduction to addiction disorders, its development, and the factors contributing to problematic substance use. It highlights how addiction-related concerns can be recognized and addressed in the workplace, clarifies the responsibilities of employees and leaders, and presents available support options for affected colleagues as well as common workplace prevention measures.

The session encourages discussion and exchange, so after the 45-minute lecture, there will be a Q&A session with the speaker, where you can submit your questions anonymously via Mentimeter.

The session will be held in English.
