The TUW Doctoral Center advises doctoral candidates at TU Wien on administrative matters. These consultations can be done either by email or at one of the “Doctoral Stammtisch,” which are get-togethers for doctoral candidates at TU Wien that take place several times each semester.

• HR Development (Personalentwicklung)
• International Welcome and Engagement Center (IWEC)

Snacks and drinks will be provided. Registration is not required.

The TUW Doctoral Center offers the following services regarding doctoral colleges:

• Standardization of procedures (e.g. recruitment of doctoral students within the frame of a TUW-DK Programme,TUW-DK reporting, etc.)
• Provision of templates (e.g. TUW-DK application, TUW-DK reporting, etc.)
• Support and consultation in the application phase and in the implementation of the TUW-DK

If you have a confirmation of supervision and have been admitted to the doctoral program, a doctoral thesis agreement, opens in new window must be concluded with your supervisor and TU Wien.

The TU Wien Doctoral Center offers doctoral candidates various courses, as well as one- and multi-day workshops and seminars on transferable skills.

These workshops and seminars can be completed in addition to the mandatory 18 ECTS credits.
