Guided tours at the Atominstitut

We are pleased over many guests which have used our guided tours in recent years to learn more about the research reactor and its opportunities.

In a guided tour, which usually takes about 1 - 1.5 hours, you will visit our TRIGA reactor, learn about topics like nuclear physics, reactor physics, neutron- and radiation physics and radiation protection. Therefore, a guided tour at the ATI is perfectly suited as a practical complement for the curriculum physics of the 8th and/or 12th school levels. The group size should be ideally from 10 to 15 people (for school classes incl. teacher). At maximum, 2 groups can be guided simultaneously. Each school group has to be accompanied by a teacher. Tours will be given between 9:00 a.m. and 15:00 p.m.
