At the Research Area for Energy Systems and Networks (NES), we are looking for a Project Assistant (m/f/d). This part-time position (up to 20 hours per week, initially limited to 12 months) involves contributing to the design and technical support of a tender for laboratory equipment to simulate large electrical networks. The role also offers the possibility of extension or further development into a scientific staff position or a path toward a PhD.

The NES is seeking a Project Assistant (f/m/d).This full-time position (40 hours per week, initially limited to 12 months) offers the possibility of an extension for an additional 24–30 months as well as further development towards a doctoral degree. The project involves close collaboration with Austrian grid operators to develop scientific foundations for ensuring the long-term integrity of the power system as the share of converter-based generation continues to grow.
