The practical application of these approaches in both residential and commercial contexts was demonstrated on site. Examples such as the Danube Flats, Music Flats, and the DC Tower showcased various mobility strategies – from bicycle parking to in-house sharing services. This gave the 16 participating students a hands-on insight into how modern mobility management can work.
The walk also highlighted how digital all-in-one platforms connect residents, buildings, and property management. The app combines several administrative and service features, including a room booking system, online damage reports, digital parcel boxes, and a virtual notice board for announcements.
The session was guided by Stefan Melzer (MO.Point GmbH), as well as Lisa Schrattenecker and Hannah Wolff-Plottegg (Pocket House GmbH), whose companies develop digital solutions for buildings and urban quarters.
