Friedrich Moser

Friedrich Moser, architect, spatial planner, urban designer, painter and musician, was born in 1926 in Spittal an der Drau in Carinthia. After studying architecture at the Graz University of Technology, he earned his doctorate at the TU Wien. Until 1974 he was head of the urban planning department in Graz and in the same year was appointed to the newly founded Institute for Local Planning at the TU Wien, where he worked for 22 years. During this time he took on the role as Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Spatial Planning and Rector of the TU Wien.
