Our colleague Liad Weisz recently took part in the 11th IWA Membrane Technology Conference in Daegu, South Korea, where he presented several interesting findings from Gerda Gurtner’s insightful diploma thesis. 
The talk focused on a possible quaternary treatment technique — combining Forward Osmosis with Retentate Ozonation — and specifically examined how Forward Osmosis can influence the ozonation process.
The conference was a great opportunity to exchange knowledge, discuss fresh ideas with peers from across the globe, and experience the vibrant culture of South Korea.
