IGP

International Graduate Program

IGP provides international students with an opportunity to undertake interdisciplinary study in science and technology in all majors offered by KIT, with instructions and lectures given, in principle, in English.

The following two categories will be available through IGP.

A. TWO-year Master’s Course

B.THREE-year Doctoral Course

Students applying for the following IGP sub-programs (EFM/STL, currently pending approval) will have the opportunity to apply for KIT's own scholarship system in addition to the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship.

・Human Resource Development Program for the Eco-Friendly Materials Manufacturing Sector (EFM)

・SEMICON TECH LEADER Development Program for the Next Generation Semiconductor (STL, STL is currently applying to the MEXT for establishment.)

The application guidelines are scheduled to be released in late October.

As the period between the publication of the application guidelines and the application deadline will be rather short, students who are interested in applying should consult with JASEC even before the application period begins, and contact their prospective supervisor at KIT to discuss their research plans.

Please refer to last year's application guidelines below.
