Associate Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.techn. In 2008, Melanie Todt graduated in Engineering and Industrial Engineering from TU Wien and in 2012 was awarded her doctorate, supervised by Prof. Rammerstorfer, for her thesis "Continuum shell models for multi-layer carbon nanostructures, opens an external URL in a new window". She continued to be affiliated with TU Wien and, in 2016, successfully applied for a tenure-track position on the subject of Computer-based multiscale modelling of high-performance materials, which she also successfully completed in 2020.
