The Programme

ATHENS is a programme of scientific and cultural exchanges proposed twice a year (in March and November) to students of the Schools and Universities of the ATHENS-network, opens an external URL in a new window.

Set up in 1996, the ATHENS network (Advanced Technology Higher Education Network/Socrates) consists of ParisTech and 14 European Universities.

The programme offers a 1-week course module (2 – 3 ECTS) covering topics in science and engineering, as well as a programme of cultural activities.

The course work carried out by the students is evaluated by an exam at the Host Institution and is recognised by the Home Institution.

European Dimension Programme

Organised by the local BEST student group, opens an external URL in a new window including welcome meeting & dinner, Vienna City Rally, museum, ERASMUS-night, opera visit, farewell evening at a "Heurigen-Restaurant".

Costs: € 30,- (will be charged during the Welcome Session)
