The focus of the research area Medical Radiation Physics is on the application of ionising particle radiation in medicine in the context of ion beam therapy. Enthusiastic students are an essential pillar of our research projects. Therefore, the necessary qualifications to be able to contribute optimally to the individual projects are taught in specialised courses at the TU Wien.
