Graduating from a Bachelor's Programme
Graduation (Bachelor's Programme)
Bachelor’s Programme completed without repeat examination.
Once all the necessary courses for the bachelor’s degree have been successfully completed, the application for graduation must be submitted in advance via the TISS system. Please use the following link: https://tiss.tuwien.ac.at/stab/, opens an external URL in a new window
The exams you have taken will automatically be allocated to the examination subjects there, and you have the opportunity to change and add to these allocations. Unusual allocations and allocations of other universities’ examinations will be completed during your visit to the Dean’s Office.
Once the courses have been allocated successfully, please send the following documents to studiendekanatMWB@tuwien.ac.at (Email) to apply for graduation:
- Notification of exam recognition, where applicable
- All course certificates that have yet to be explicitly allocated
- Proof of citizenship or passport
- Current study form
- Privacy statement (PDF)
Please also complete the UHStat2 questionnaire by following this link: https://uhstat2.hochschule.at, opens an external URL in a new window
You can also hand in the documents in person during the Dean's Office's opening hours.
Where applicable, Changeover allocation (PDF), opens an external URL in a new window - for long-term students who, when they started the course, were using an older syllabus (must already be signed by the Dean of Studies at the time of submission)
The degree documents (certificate, notification, diploma supplement) will only be issued after graduation has been applied for at the Dean’s Office, and are usually ready to collect within 2 - 3 weeks.
Attention
As soon as graduation has been confirmed by the Dean’s Office and entered in TISS, you can either enrol for your continuing study at master level in person, or simply send an e-mail to the Department for Studies and Examinations.
