ÖWGP Future Prize 2025

The ÖWGP Future Prize 2025 is intended to reward the best research project in Austria that makes a significant contribution to increasing competitiveness.

The Austrian Scientific Society for Production Technology (ÖWGP), opens an external URL in a new window is an association of professors from Austrian universities with the aim of promoting science and research-led teaching in the field of production technology.

Topic

Innovative production as a contribution to increasing competitiveness
Increasing competitiveness is currently a key issue for the EU. Production technology in Austria plays a key role in this regard – both in research and in its competitive implementation.
The ÖWGP Future Prize is awarded to research projects that are based on sound fundamental research and have implemented the knowledge gained from this research with measurable success. The aim of the prize is to present outstanding innovations in production systems, products and materials to the public.

Participation

Natural persons and legal entities who have initiated and led a research project on the advertised topic, which was carried out predominantly in Austria and completed by the end of the submission deadline, are eligible to participate.
