Ideas and short proposals: online submission of idea profile and project outline

Decision on the submitted proposals at the Rectorate meeting: a maximum of 10 projects are selected

Formulation of the projects selected by the Rectorate on a maximum of 10 pages

Idea pitch plus Q&A by panel consisting of Rector, Vice Rector, 2 Deans, 4 Senate members, 2 University Councillors
Objective
- Utilise the creativity, innovative strength and brainpower of all TU Wien university members
- Generate as many innovative ideas as possible for strategy-supporting measures
- Support the strategic goals & cross-cutting issues
This continues the participatory dynamic from phases 1 & 2. The strategic goals & vision of TU Wien are discussed and thus made better known, communicated and filled with life at TU Wien. Intensive involvement of scientists who are familiar with the format of competitive calls for proposals.

General conditions
- Topics that contribute to at least one strategic goal
- Project completion by autumn 2027 at the latest with concrete results, no project extensions!
- Interdisciplinary project teams consisting of at least two groups Academics (→ researchers and teaching staff), students, administration
- Total amount of funding 2.6 million euros
Evaluation criteria
Pre-qualification criteria (check of specifications such as team composition, strategic objective, budget, etc.)
Weighting
- Fit to fuTUre fit - topic relevance and contribution to strategic goals (30%)
- Implementation potential and added value for TU Wien Development 2035+ (30%)
- Soundness of the approach (20%)
- Qualification of team (10%)
- Smart use of resources (10%)
