The Tomorrow Talks

The Tomorrow Talks, Europe’s student-platform for innovative ideas, proudly announces the launch of the second edition of its bi-annual idea contest.

Students from universities across Europe are called upon to share their ideas on how the Smartphone of tomorrow can work better, be more personal and fun to use. Teams of maximum 5 members are invited to create 3-minute videos illustrating their idea and uploading them to <link http: www.thetomorrowtalks.com>www.thetomorrowtalks.com until February 15th 2013.

The top 10 ideas from all submissions are elected by public online voting. These ideas are judged by an international expert jury crowning the three first places, who will be rewarded with:

  • € 6.000  for 1st prize
  • € 3.000  for 2nd prize
  • € 1.000  for 3rd prize

The 10 finalist ideas are announced on March, 11th 2013.
After a one week voting by the jury, the winners will be celebrated on March 18th 2013.

The Tomorrow Talks is a unique opportunity for students to prove their creativity and innovative spirit to an international audience.

Earlier in 2012, Team SmartNavi from Technical University Ilmenau prevailed over more than 700 students from 15 selected academic institutions across Europe with their idea of an advanced navigation system and won the first edition of The Tomorrow Talks idea contest.

Formerly being a competition for students of 15 selected universities, The Tomorrow Talks are now open to all Europeans students.

From this change the organizers expect an even bigger contest with more participants and more ideas how to create tomorrow’s best Smartphone experience.
