Additive Fertigung an der TU Wien-Pilotfabrik Industrie 4.0

Zukunftsweisende Materialien und Verfahren

Die Additive Fertigung – oder mit anderen Worten: 3D Druck - hat sich in den letzten Jahren stark weiterentwickelt und ist beispielsweise im Maschinen- und Automobilbau, in der Architektur, sowie in der Medizin- und Zahntechnik bereits im Einsatz. Man verwendet diese Methoden für Einzelanfertigungen, für den Prototypenbau, und immer häufiger auch für Serienfertigungen. Insbesondere im Zusammenhang mit Industrie 4.0 werden additive Fertigungsverfahren zunehmend zur Schlüsseltechnologie, da sie sich u. a. für die Fertigung komplex geformter Teile auch in kleinen Stückzahlen eignen. Zudem gibt es eine Vielfalt an nutzbaren Materialien (Kunststoffe, Metalle, Keramiken, Zellen,..). Die Anforderungen wachsen: Geschwindigkeit der Fertigung, Oberflächengüte, Detailgenauigkeit, Qualitätsstandards, Komplexität und Kosten sind nur einige der Themen, die künftig immer mehr in den Mittelpunkt rücken werden.

An der TU Wien beschäftigt man sich bereits seit vielen Jahren mit der Entwicklung von 3D-Druckverfahren und mit der Frage, welche Materialmischungen für unterschiedliche Anwendungen optimal geeignet sind. Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung erhalten Sie von den TU Wien-Experten einen Überblick über den Stand der Technik, zukünftige Anwendungsbereiche und Einsatzmöglichkeiten, aber auch derzeitige Limitierungen additiver Fertigungsverfahren.

Präsentiert und demonstriert werden unterschiedliche Verfahren und Materialien wie beispielweise Metall, Kunststoff oder künstliches Gewebe. Darüber hinaus gibt es die Möglichkeit, sich die Pilotfabrik Industrie 4.0 anzusehen: Hier werden neue Produktionstechniken (weiter-) entwickelt und der Einsatz moderner IT-Lösungen für „Smart Production“-Anwendungen erforscht und erprobt. Als Demonstrationsbeispiel in der Pilotfabrik dient die Herstellung eines 3D-Druckers für Kunststoffe.

Der Workshop wird in Kooperation mit der Wirtschaftskammer Wien durchgeführt und ist daher für Wiener Unternehmen kostenlos.
