Responsibility of the Dean of Academic Affairs

The Dean of Academic Affairs is responsible for:

  • Admission to the degree programme
  • Recognition of exams
  • Recognition of externally conducted free electives and transferable skills
  • Approval of externally conducted diploma theses or dissertations in general
  • Approval of individual study plans for doctoral programmes
  • Problems in teaching

 

The Dean of Studies is not responsible for:

  • Information on scholarships and prize tenders
  • Purely administrative questions
  • Personnel matters

Erasmus Online Learning Agreements (OLA) in the EWP system

If you need an Erasmus Online Learning Agreement (OLA), please make sure that you first discuss this matter with one of the responsible deans of academic affairs (Dean of Academic Affairs Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.mont. Mayrhofer, opens an external URL in a new window, Vice Dean of Academic Affairs Associate Prof. Dipl.-Ing.in Dr.in techn. Melanie Todt, opens an external URL in a new window) during a consultation hour. The Dean of Academic Affairs with whom the consultation takes place is subsequently also responsible for signing the Erasmus Online Learning Agreement (OLA).
