Workshop: Journals betreiben gemeinsam mit Bibliotheken: Was brauchen Forschende?

It is not only traditional publishers who publish scholarly journals. Increasingly, researchers are also responsible for journals in direct cooperation with their libraries. In this workshop, participants will discuss and work out which services researchers are going to need in the future – and how libraries can best implement their requirements.

Session: The Persistent Identifier Heist: An Escape Room Activity Escape Room zu ORCID, DOI und ROR

Escape Room on ORCID, DOI and ROR: Persistent identifiers (PIDs) are digital identifiers that uniquely and permanently identify researchers, publications and institutions. Working together in teams to solve tricky puzzles, participants will gain an understanding of how PIDs work and experience their tangible benefits for visibility, networking and findability.
