On 30 September 2025, TU Wien Bibliothek hosted the opening of the exhibition "Kunst zum Anfassen" alongside the book launch of "Zwischen Henkel und Schnabel". The projects were developed by the Research Unit Three-Dimensional Design and Model Making (Kunst2) at the Institute of Art and Design, Faculty of Architecture, in collaboration with TU Wien Academic Press.

The exhibition presents artistic projects from four years of the master’s programme in architecture, showcasing the diversity of research-led teaching in the artistic field. At the intersection of art, architecture and design, experimentation takes centre stage. The interdisciplinary team of artists and architects explores the tension between analogue methods and contemporary technologies. Through national and international collaboration, innovative approaches emerge, made accessible to a wide audience via exhibitions, symposia and publications.

As a knowledge hub and social infrastructure, TU Wien Bibliothek provides an ideal setting for this presentation.
