We are excited to welcome Sabrina Borka (second from the left) from FHWN Campus Tulln to our molecularbiology group!
She will be working on the removal of antibioticresistance in a multi-barrier system for watertreatment during her bachelor thesis. In the lab, she will be supported by our AMR expert, PhD researcher Irina Dielacher. After some pre-experiments at T, opens an external URL in a new windowechnische Universität Wien, she will travel to Chennai (India), where she'll be on the front lines, taking samples and conducting tests at water treatment systems and doing further analyses at our lab.
This work will be realized in cooperation with WABAG Water Services SRL, opens an external URL in a new window and financially supported by the FEMtech initiative funded by Bundesministerium für Klimaschutz, Umwelt, Energie, Mobilität, Innovation & Technologie (https://www.femtech.at/, opens an external URL).
