Study Assistant Maria Stepan, BSc

Interests: climate-sensitive spatial planning, diversity, post-growth processes 

Maria Stepan has been studying spatial planning since 2017. In her bachelor thesis, she dealt with game-based participation processes and developed a game to raise awareness about climate change adaptation measures in municipalities. She is also interested in sustainable urban development, post-growth, circular economy and landscape. Since May 2022, she has been working as a study assistant at the Research Unit of Regional Planning and Regional Development and is responsible for the administrative support of the website and social media.
