With the start of the academic winter term, we are pleased to announce the beginning of our new water quality management seminar series. 
The series is part of the civil and environmental engineering curriculum, but it is open to everyone as a forum for exchange and discussion. As in previous years, the programme is very broad and diverse, featuring talks both in English and German ranging from research projects and insights into the challenges and solutions of water management projects to insights into the work of international institutions and companies and the latest advancements in key technologies.
We kick off on 14 October with a talk by our colleague Meiqi Liu on the identification of sources and pathways of PFAS pollution in the Upper Danube Basin, and we continue on 21 October with an overview of a talk by Katerina Schilling on the IAWD - Voice of the Danube and the regional cooperation in the water service sector of the Danube region.
