To make it easier to distinguish spam, phishing, or other fraudulent attempts in connection with TUshop mailings, all emails have been digitally signed, opens an external URL in a new window for a long time. This makes it easy for you to check whether an email originates from TUshop.

Due to the changeover of the software download server, emails were sent that contained download links to servers outside the TU. Since it is easier to check whether the links are within the TU (the addresses end with tuwien.ac.at or tuwien.at), we have now changed all mailings so that all download links refer directly to the TUshop. The TUshop will then redirect you to the currently valid download server for the service. This redirection service is also accessible outside of TUnet, so you can download as usual from your home office/home without needing a VPN connection.

You can also use this redirection service for your internal purposes. A download link has the simple structure “https://shop.it.tuwien.ac.at:9999/get-download?srv=”, followed by the service number (e.g. SRV00221), which you can find at the top of each product page. Services without a download link redirect to the product page so that you can read the service details. Please note that the TUshop is only accessible within the TUnet and a VPN connection is required from outside.
