The tour started at St Charles's Church (Karlskirche) and followed the Operngasse cycle path to Margaretenstraße, then continued along Wienzeile to the newly redesigned Naschmarkt area. Afterwards we visited the inner Mariahilfer Straße, the new bike path on Neubaugürtel, and the updated route along the outer Mariahilfer Straße, where the walk ended.

Along the way, we examined redesigned areas, various conflict points and challenges facing Vienna’s cycling infrastructure. The experts offered valuable insights into the future of cycling in the city, and together we identified both successful interventions and areas needing improvement.
