Michael Getzner on the board of the Lake Neusiedl National Park

Michael Getzner was appointed to the board of the Lake Neusiedl National Park by the Burgenland provincial government. The new board recently met at the National Park Center in Illmitz. The new board's tasks include supervisory and approval duties on the one hand, and strategic issues on the other: climate change and a lack of pastureland are posing a long-term threat to some of the national park's key protected resources.
