Mentimeter Pro-Version now available free of charge for all students of the TU Wien

Good news for all students of the TU Wien: The Pro version of the interactive presentation and survey software Mentimeter is now available free of charge. Because the TU Wien has extended the existing contract with Mentimeter by three years and has now also activated the student accounts.

What is Mentimeter?

Mentimeter is a browser-based software for creating interactive presentations. It can be used to integrate live surveys, word clouds, quiz questions or Q&A sessions into lectures and group work, etc.

Typical applications in everyday study life:

  • Designing presentations with surveys, polls or live feedback
  • Structuring group work: e.g. joint brainstorming, task distribution, interactive preparation of meetings
  • Obtaining feedback on presentations or events

Access to the Pro version:

The Pro license is available free of charge via the TUshop, opens an external URL in a new window. Login then takes place via SSO.

Mentimeter pub quiz (students only):

All students of the TU Wien are cordially invited to the Mentimeter pub quiz. You can try out Mentimeter in a fun way over a buffet with free food and drinks.

When and where: October 7, 2025, 3:00-5:00 p.m., Boecklsaal
