Kinder Uni

[Translate to English:] Richar Lee und Sara Neuburg KinderUni

Last week Sara Neuburg and Richard David Lee, had the privilege to participate in this year’s Kinderuni Wien – that is, “Vienna Children’s University”. It’s a special time in the summer when the major universities of Vienna, including Technische Universität Wien, throw open their doors and welcome the littlest learners. Children aged seven to twelve get to explore the world through the wonderful lenses of higher learning institutions. No parents or exams permitted, just loads of questions and laughter. Sara and Richard had a full house for their presentation, “How our food becomes food for the plants”, where they introduced the 90 kids in the room to the value of large-scale composting facilities, both within Central Europe and in Uganda. When asked “what is something that we have in Austria that you also find in Uganda,” the top answers were “food” and “air”.
