IAESTE Trainee from Mexico

We are happy to welcome our new IAESTE intern, Adriana Sifuentes, who joined us with a degree in Environmental Management Engineering and a strong background in waste management.
During her professional training, she actively worked on hazardous and special waste management, including monitoring, classification, and disposal in an ISO 14001 and ISO 9001-certified environment. Her work focused on classifying hazardous waste based on CRETIB criteria (Corrosivity, Reactivity, Explosivity, Toxicity, Ignitability, and Biological Infectiousness) and on optimizing waste collection processes to reduce environmental impact.

We are excited to have her contribute to our mission of promoting sustainable resource use, and we look forward to supporting her continuous learning and innovation journey through her internship.
