After a break of several years, the Hermannskogellauf organized by the Research Group Higher Geodesy and the Department of Geodesy and Geoinformation took place again on October 6, 2025, on a new course. The varied route leads from the start at Cobenzl through the Wienerwald to the finish directly at the Habsburgwarte on top of Hermannskogel (about 4 km + 200 meters). Since an excursion to Hermannskogel for new master's students was taking place at the same time as part of their introductory seminar, a large number of geodesists gathered at the fundamental point at Habsburgwarte. The three fastest geodesists were honored after returning to Cobenzl at the Waldgrill restaurant:

Nicolas Kastner     18:18              Elisabeth Ötsch      24:55

Lukas Neumair      20:45              Grace Telaar           27:22

Paul Friedmann     21:00              Sofie Steinmetz      28:17

Thank you for your great participation and we hope to see you again at the 15th edition of the Hermannskogellauf next year!
