Ani MIRACI received a permanent position at Sorbonne University

Former Postdoc at ASC continues her research in Paris.

[Translate to English:] Portrait of Ani Miraci; in the background mathematical formulae

Dr. Ani MIRACI joined the NumPDEs research group, led by Prof. Dirk PRAETORIUS, in 2021 as a postdoctoral researcher to collaborate on the analysis of adaptive finite element methods, with a particular focus on the optimal interaction between local mesh refinement and iterative solvers. This collaboration has led to several publications and the development and analysis of adaptive algorithms of optimal complexity, relying on (potentially nested) robust iterative solvers for second-order elliptic equations. Since 1 September 2025, she holds a permanent position as Maître de Conférences (Assistant Professor) at the Laboratoire Jacques-Louis Lions, Sorbonne University.

Congratulations and all the best for the future!
