Ring-Shaped Portable Braille Device
A completely new Braille display was invented at TU Wien. It is simple to operate, cost-efficient and easy to transport. The display consists of a ring on the inside of which Braille letters can be displayed and felt. It is thus possible to display long lines of Braille text with this small and portable device. This ring is technically rather simple, it fits into any jacket pocket and should be significantly cheaper than currently available products.
