The Admission Office is a central devision unit and an important point of contact for matters related to admission and study law. Our main objective is to carry out our responsibilities promptly, competently, and unbureaucratically, within the framework of legal and university regulations. In doing so, we strive to maintain a pleasant and respectful atmosphere with students, lecturers, and employees of other service units at TU Wien.

Former students who have been asked by the Federal Pension Fund (Pensionsversicherungsanstalt, PVA) to provide proof of their study periods are kindly requested to contact us via the contact form.

In your request, please indicate that you require a confirmation of study periods for the PVA, and include your full name (or your name prior to marriage), your student ID number (Matrikelnummer), and a scanned copy of your ID. If you no longer remember your student ID number, please be sure to provide your date of birth so we can avoid any confusion with other students of the same name.

The confirmation of your study periods will then be sent to you as a PDF file by email. This document includes the digital official signature, which means that a stamp and signature from the Admission Office are no longer required.
