In the working area of “gender strategy and cooperation”, networks, communication channels and information transfer between TU Wien and businesses are being created or improved with reference to gender.

Together with businesses, examples are being set and strategies developed to inspire girls and women to study at TU Wien and subsequently to work towards getting a technical job.

The overriding focus is on equal opportunities between the sexes in the technical world of work.
There needs to be increased perception of the social relevance and responsibility of this topic and changes will be possible as a result of this.
