Scientific & Technological Cooperation (WTZ)

Grants to cover researchers' mobility (travel costs and costs of stay) as well as project related material costs.

Application requirements: a concrete scientific project with secured basic funding, in which scientists from the  corresponding partner countries will cooperate.

Actions Austria - Slovakia / Czech Republic / Hungary

The Actions promote the development of bilateral educational and scientific cooperation between Austria and Slovakia/Czech Republic/Hungary in all scientific disciplines. In the framework of the Actions are offered:

  • various scholarships for teachers and researchers (e.g. scholarships for short-term stays, summer language courses, doctoral students, habilitations, etc.),
  • project funding.

EPFLeaders4impact - postdoctoral fellowships in Switzerland

EPFL is one of the most dynamic science and technology institution in Europe and ranks among the top 20 universities worldwide. EPFLeaders4impact is a new postdoctoral fellowship programme funding talented researchers from all over the world. The programme will fund between 40 and 120 fellowships of a duration of 12, 18, 24, or 36 months.

Applicants are free to choose their project topic in any discipline included in the research areas of EPFL, which must address at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Granted applicants will carry out their project at one of the five EPFL campuses in Switzerland.
