Action "Alliances for Innovation"

Erasmus+, opens an external URL in a new window is an EU programme for education, training, youth and sport that opens up many opportunities for international cooperation. You can find detailed information on these cooperation opportunities and eligibility criteria in:

Alliances for Innovation

  • Lot 1: Alliances for Education and Enterprises
  • Lot 2: Alliances for Sectoral Cooperation on Skills (implementing the ‘Blueprint’)

Objective: To strengthen Europe’s innovation capacity by boosting innovation through cooperation and flow of knowledge among higher education, vocational education and training, and the broader socio-economic environment, including research; Development of curricula; Development of a sense of initiative and entrepreneurial mind-sets in the EU.
Deadline for applications: 15 September 2022
Application: The coordinating institution submits the application to the European Executive Agency for Education and Culture (EACEA) in Brussels (central procedure).

Scientific & Technological Cooperation (WTZ)

Grants to cover researchers' mobility (travel costs and costs of stay) as well as project related material costs.

Application requirements: a concrete scientific project with secured basic funding, in which scientists from the  corresponding partner countries will cooperate.

EPFLeaders4impact - postdoctoral fellowships in Switzerland

EPFL is one of the most dynamic science and technology institution in Europe and ranks among the top 20 universities worldwide. EPFLeaders4impact is a new postdoctoral fellowship programme funding talented researchers from all over the world. The programme will fund between 40 and 120 fellowships of a duration of 12, 18, 24, or 36 months.

Applicants are free to choose their project topic in any discipline included in the research areas of EPFL, which must address at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Granted applicants will carry out their project at one of the five EPFL campuses in Switzerland.

60 Jahre OeAD: Internationale Lehrerfahrung mit Erasmus+

Erasmus+ ermöglicht Hochschullehrenden internationale Lehraufenthalte an Partnerhochschulen im Ausland. Die Erasmus+ Personalmobilität wird von Österreichs Hochschulen rege genutzt. Jedes Jahr finden über 1.000 Auslandsaufenthalte von Lehrenden statt.

Erasmus+ Botschafter Maximilian Schachner von der IMC FH Krems hat vielfältige Erasmus+ Erfahrungen gesammelt und berichtet vom immensen Mehrwert dieser Lehraufenthalte im Ausland.

Information on Brexit

After the United Kingdom (UK) left the European Union, the respective transition phase, during which EU law and rules continued to apply, will end on December 31, 2020. For this reason, also the unrestricted movement of people between the United Kingdom and the European Union will end after this date. Canon Foundation in Europe – Research Fellowships

The Canon Foundation in Europe grants up to 15 Fellowships to highly qualified European and Japanese researchers. European nationals should have permanent citizenship in the country. Applicants should hold a doctorate or at least a master’s degree obtained in the last ten years.
