Previously, researchers and students had to search excel and PDF files to discover whether an agreement exists that allows them to publish open access in a particular journal without additional costs. With TU Wien Bibliothek’s new Open Access Journal Finder, this time-consuming search is a thing of the past.

The Journal Finder offers a user-friendly search screen where you simply enter the name of the desired journal or proceedings series. All titles found in this search are eligible for open access funding. Under “cost coverage”, you can see whether an application must be submitted or whether the article is automatically recognized via a transformative agreement. By clicking on the individual results, you can view the exact funding requirements for each journal.
